Market Rules and Details
This market predicts whether the duration of the prison sentence imposed on Daniel Vorcaro will exceed 20 years.
The resolution will be based exclusively on the conviction sentence handed down by the Brazilian Justice (lower court decision). The result will consider the total imprisonment time stipulated in the initial judicial decision, disregarding appeals in higher courts, plea bargain agreements signed after the sentence, or eventual sentence reductions.
For resolution purposes, if the sentence includes fractions of time (such as months or days), only the whole number of years will be considered, without rounding. For the market to resolve as "Yes", the full imprisonment term must be 21 years or more. Sentences of 20 years or less will resolve the market as "No".
Should Vorcaro be acquitted or not sentenced to a prison term (imprisonment), this market will be resolved as "No".
If the process does not have an official definition (lower court sentence handed down) by the end of December 31, 2026, this market will be automatically resolved as "No".
